Los Angeles, California | January 2022

 Los Angeles:

Weather:

High 60's, low 70's. Sunny.

Transportation:

We rented a car for our stay.

Kosher Food:

Mensch Bakery - Delicious brunch place. They have a full menu of sandwiches, salads, pastas, fish, etc. (Dairy)

Charcoal Grill & Bar - Israeli style restaurant. Amazing cocktails. (Meat)

Fish Grill - Malibu. I'm not a fish-lover but it was GOOD. Outdoor dining with a view of the water.

La Gondola - Italian upscale restaurant. You. Must. Get. The. Avocado. Eggrolls.  Thank me later.

Pizza World - Typical pizza store. Kinda gave me camp dining room vibes with the wood paneling.

Jeff's - Best. Burgers. In. The. World. You must try the Wild Western burger. To die for.

Attractions:

Tubing, Wakesurfing, Waterskiing, & Wakeboarding - On Castaic Lake. Click here to book.

Urban Light - By the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. Cool photo shoot at night time.

Hollywood Sign - What's a trip to LA without a picture near the iconic Hollywood sign? We drove up a mountain, scenic tour style, and stopped at a viewpoint where we got out of the car and took a bunch of photos.

Malibu Beach - Beautiful beach, but the bright red sunset was even more beautiful.

Edward Albert Escondido Canyon Trail and Waterfalls - We put in this random conservatory place in Waze and landed up at this Canyon. We stopped our car by the sign that said No Trespassing, so we didn't see any waterfalls or trail. But we did see a spectactular view over a canyon.

Santa Monica Boardwalk - The ferris wheel is all lit up at night. Cost around $10 to ride. Great night energy. Lots of cops so felt pretty safe.

Rodeo Drive - We only got back to the city at nighttime, so all the shops on Rodeo Drive were closed. We had an awesome time doing the mannequin challenge in front of Versace, Louis Vuitton, and the like.

Disneyland - We went to the Adventure Park for the day. The swinging ferris wheel and Spiderman rides were 10/10.
