Paris | June 2023

Paris:

Weather:

Mid 70's. Beautiful weather.

Transportation:

We used Uber. Do not try driving, the traffic is insane and motorcyclists weave in and out of lanes.

Accomodations:

Hotel Beauchamps - Located right off Champs Elysees, it's in a perfect location. Quaint, clean, small boutique style hotel.

Kosher Food:

Please do your own research in terms of Kashrus standards. Do not rely on the blog.

Kavod - Delicious meat restaurant. Awesome waiters. Really not expensive. Portions are super generous. The steak we ordered was enough for a family of 6... and the menu said it's for 2. Go figure.

L'inte - Pretty dairy restaurant, perfect for lunch. We tried some cool sounding dishes with cheese balls that we couldn't pronounce. The food was light and filling.

La Reserve - We had brunch at the Reserve. They have sushi, pizza, croissants (duh), salads, pasta, etc.

Le XXV - Dairy cafe with outdoor seating. Amazing pastries and coffees.

Damyel - Located in the Pletsl (the Jewish quarter). Legendary chocolates and macarons. Highly recommend!!

Boulangerie Patisserie - Bakery located in the Pletsl. Next door is a non-Kosher bakery with outdoor seating. Don't get confused!

Flavio - Dairy restaurant with outdoor seating. Pizzas, salads, pastas, etc. They're open quite late. The kitchen closes at 10:30PM.

Other places we didn't try, but were recommended:
Le Bazar - amazing reviews
Tikoun Olam - party vibe
L'eden - nice lunch place
Cafe Marceau - best brunch place
L'as Du Fallafel - in Pletsl
Boulangerie Korcarz - good breakfast place
Boulangerie Murciano - in Pletsl

Attractions:
Keep your hands on your purse at all times. Pickpocketing is real!

Eiffel Tower - Are we even allowed to go to Paris if we don't check out the Eiffel Tower? lol
Definitely get tickets weeks/months in advance to take the elevator up to the top. Or you can take the stairs. Your choice. Book here.
Also, go at night time when it's fully lit up.

River Cruise down the Siene - The boat leaves every 45 minutes. Last one is at 3:30PM. Book tickets here. It's 15 Euro for an hour or so and totally worth it. It's calm, pretty, and relaxing.

Retro-Tour - This is a MUST-DO! Super fun motorcycle tour of Paris. 3 people fit onto each motorcycle (including the driver). The tourguide drives it. Book here.

Champs Elysees - What's Paris without shopping on Champs Elysees?

Louvre - You absolutely need the iconic photo of holding the glass pyramid with your fingers! Do you need to actually go inside the Louvre? That's debatable... many people say it's overrated. We didn't have tickets nor the time to wait on line so I have no opinion:)
